The Botanical Gardens

For a heavenly scent of Bermuda, follow your nose to the Botanical Gardens. This impressive 36-acre paradise is the best place to enjoy and identify our island’s delightful flora.

Highlights include:

• A palm garden with native palmetto trees
• A subtropical fruit garden
• A garden for the blind
• Greenhouses with orchids, bromeliads, a miniature forest, an aviary and a variety of flowering houseplants
• Camden House, the official residence of Bermuda’s Premier, is open for tours except when official functions are scheduled

Waterville

Located on the water’s edge at the end of Hamilton Harbour, this tiny seasonal garden is a spectacular place to enjoy a leisurely stroll. The charming grounds include the Bermuda Rose Society’s showcase garden and the Mary-Jean Mitchell Green Memorial Garden and Gazebo.

Palm Grove Gardens

Palm Grove, a private estate graciously opened to the public, offers a peak at Mother Nature tamed. The manicured gardens most notable include a natural map of Bermuda set in a small pond. You will also find a lively aviary housing parrots and toucans, a romantic moongate, citrus groves, and sea vistas.
